The annual Winter Course was held at the Guildford Spectrum in February 2024 under the senior instructors, led by Arthur Meek 8th Dan Sensei.
The five days went quickly and over 200 students came from all over Europe to take part in the intense seminar.
At the end of the course our Farnham & Guildford club student Greg Cobb graded for 1st Dan black belt and passed successfully, at the third attempt.
Not at all an easy black belt to get, but very much earnt and done with spirit and on merit.
On the course Sensei Arthur promoted Farnham, Guildford & Haslemere club instructor, Corin Pegden, to 5th Dan and Aldershot instructor, Nick Mogeridge to 4th Dan.
