The Farnham dojo hosted the Wado Academy New Year’s training seminar on Sunday 5th January 2025.
Seventy plus students had 3 hours of world class instruction from Sensei Arthur Meek 8th Dan, teaching on behalf of Shiomitsu Sensei 9th Dan Hanshi.
These are always great sessions and follow Shiomitsu Sensei’s mantra of “get sweat” for the New Year and to work off any excesses! Sensei covered basics, kata and pair-work in detail and well as drilling some of the Dan grade combinations.
Students were able to socialise afterwards in a nearby pub and enjoy buffet food and conversation.
